Microlife BP B3 AFIB - User Manual
A user manual for the Microlife BP B3 AFIB blood pressure monitor outlines its clinical-grade non-invasive blood pressure measurement capabilities, including atrial fibrillation (AF) detection via a validated algorithm. The guide covers essential topics such as proper patient preparation–avoiding caffeine, physical activity, or eating before measurements–to ensure accurate readings. It also explains device setup, including cuff sizing based on arm circumference and initial configuration steps like battery insertion and date/time settings. Safety instructions emphasize correct usage, storage, and cleaning protocols to maintain accuracy, while troubleshooting includes guidance for interpreting error messages and managing data storage. The manual highlights the device’s role as a screening tool rather than a diagnostic substitute, stressing the need for physician confirmation of AF findings.
