Battery Regulatory information and obligations

Batteries that can contain substances that are hazardous to the environment and health, especially lithium batteries
should be handled with special care. The separation, collection, and recycling of used batteries helps to reduce the
negative impact of batteries on the environment and the world's decrease in human health.

Please try to avoid the generation of battery waste as much as possible by Using rechargeable batteries and ensure
that batteries or battery-containing devices are always properly stored in compliance with the legal obligations to
avoid Waste pollution to be disposed of. As a user of batteries, please also consider Ways to prepare batteries for
reuse whenever possible.

Batteries must not be disposed of along with household or business waste. You are legally obliged to return the used
batteries so that they can be properly recycled. You can get used non-rechargeable and rechargeable batteries to
municipal authorities and Return them at collection points or recycling centers or where batteries are sold or where
they can be bought back free of charge. We are also in favor of taking back old batteries obligated, but our obligation
to take back is limited to used batteries of the type that we use to carry or have carried as new batteries in our own
range.

The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol on both rechargeable and non-rechargeable Batteries means that batteries
must not be disposed of with household or business waste. Should a battery have more than 0.0005% mercury (Hg),
0.002% cadmium (Cd) or 0.004% lead (Pb) (according to Weight), their chemical symbol (Hg, Cd, or Pb) is displayed
under the symbol.
