Compatibility Notes:
• This mount will work with all windshield suction pedestals, regardless
of manufacturer, with a suction cup of 80mm max.

Windshield Suction Pedestal Installation
Place the suction cup of the windshield pedestal (sold
separately, not included) down on the mounting surface in
the center of the dash mount. Secure the pedestal to the
mount before attaching a holder or device (sold separately,
not included).
Step 1.
Do not place mount in or near an air bag deployment
zone or where it will obstruct view of the road.

Safety Precautions
Follow all manufacturer safety guidelines for operating your device. Failure to
practice safe usage of GPS device while driving may result in damage, injury, or
death. Do not install Arkon products over an air bag cover or within the air bag
deployment zone.
Arkon is not responsible for any damages caused to your car, your device, or
yourself due to the installation or use of this pedestal mount.
Dashboard Mount Installation
Find a safe location on the vehicle dashboard that is not in an air
bag deployment zone.
Optional Safety hook installation will add extra stability.
Clean the area with the included alcohol pad and let dry. Remove
the adhesive backing on the safety hook base. The hook curve
must point towards the windshield. Press and hold the hook
down on the dashboard surface for about a minute. Allow 24 hrs.
to cure to the dashboard at room temperature (72° F).
Place the loop on the back of the dashboard mount around the
safety hook and place on the dashboard in front of the hook.
Remove protective fi lm from the pedestal mounting surface (A).
