DESCRIPTION
The sun shroud provides an air space between itself and the enclosure. It protects the enclo-
sure from the direct rays of the sun and reduces the internal temperature of the enclosure ap-
proximately 10

to 15
°
F (6
°
to 10
°
C).
Models
SS2508
Sun shroud for EH2508, designed to reduce internal enclosure tempera-
ture when the enclosure is subjected to direct sunlight.
SS2512
Same as SS2508 except for use with EH2512 series enclosures.
SS2515
Same as SS2508 except for use with EH2515 series enclosures.
INSTALLATION
To install the sun shroud, refer to the drawing and perform the following steps:
1.
Wrap the sun shroud around the enclosure housing.
2.
Insert the screws in the sun shroud through the holes in the housing mount.
3.
Align the sun shroud.
4.
Fasten the sun shroud screws to the nuts and tighten securely using the provided 9/64"
hex wrench (Pelco # ZT-ALLEN9/64).
