1.0 SCOPE
The information contained within this manual covers
the HKHS3000 and HKHS3024 heater kits.
Installation should be in accordance with all applicable
local and national electric codes, utilizing approved
materials only.
Please thoroughly familiarize yourself with the infor-
mation in this manual prior to installation and opera-
tion.
2.0 DESCRIPTION
The HKHS3000 (120 VAC) and HKHS3024 (24 VAC)
are field installed heater kits for the HS3000 and
HS3020 high security enclosures.
These heater kits provide 30 watts of heat and are ther-
mostatically controlled ON at 40

C) and OFF
at 60

C).
2.1 RECOMMENDED CABLE DISTANCES
The following are the recommended cable distances for
heater operation when used with a transformer capable
of delivering the power requirements. Cable distances
are based on a 10% line loss.
