REPLACING THE POWER PANEL

REMOVING THE POWER PANEL

1. Turn the power switch on the power panel to OFF and unplug the chair.
2. Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, remove the four screws.
3. Pull the power panel out of the backrest far enough to expose the connectors behind it (Fig.2).
4. Disconnect both sets of cables.
5. Remove the power panel from the chair.
6. Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, remove the two screws that secure the remote control to the
power panel, then remove the remote control from the power panel.

INSTALLING THE NEW POWER PANEL

1. Feed the remote control cable through the new power panel, then secure the remote control bracket to the
power panel using two screws.
2. Connect the remote control cable to the corresponding cable inside the mounting plate.
3. Connect the new power panel cable to the corresponding cable inside the mounting plate.
4. Install the power panel into the mounting plate.

CAUTION: Be sure to tuck the cables completely inside the mounting plate so that they do not get pinched.

5. Using the Phillips-head screwdriver, replace the four screws.
6. Plug in the chair and power it on, to ensure that the new power panel is working.

Tools Required: Phillips-head screwdriver.
