Thule 961xt - Manual
This installation manual covers Thule’s lineup of car bike carriers, including the 961xt and 962xt Speedway models, detailing compatibility, setup, and safety requirements. The document emphasizes vehicle-specific installation procedures–such as adjusting arm angles, securing straps, and ensuring proper load distribution–to prevent damage or accidents. It also includes compatibility charts for various car models (e.g., Acura, Audi, Chevrolet) to confirm part fitment before purchase, alongside warnings about weight limits, maintenance, and warranty conditions. Additionally, it provides safety guidelines for using stabilization devices like the "No Sway Cage" and highlights critical considerations such as avoiding hot exhaust areas or improper strap tension during mounting.
