E 135 insert for baby bottles
,
Please read the Warning and Safety instructions in the Operating Instructions for your washer-disinfector carefully. You should only process baby bottles in this
insert if they have been declared as suitable for machine processing by the manufacturer. Please also observe the manufacturer’s care instructions. The programme
used to process the bottles must be suitable for the material from which they are manufactured. We recommend thermal disinfection (e.g. A
0
600), preferably using a
Vario programme.
For improved results the main wash temperature can be set to 65°C. This is because milk protein requires high temperatures for denaturation to take place. Do not use
highly alkaline cleaning agents as these can damage the markings on the bottles. Please contact your Miele Professional application specialist and/or your cleaning
agent supplier if you require advice.

Areas of application:
The E 135 insert is suitable for cleaning and disinfecting 19 baby bottles. It can be
used in the upper or lower basket of the washer-disinfector or in empty mobile
units e. g. E 935-3, E 735-3 or E 555.
^
Open the lid catch and take the lid
off the insert.
^
Place used baby bottles into the
insert with the open end facing
upwards.
^
Replace the lid over the insert.
The mesh on the lid will hold the bottles
securely in position.
^
Place the insert into the mobile unit
making sure that the open ends of
the bottles are facing downwards.
Both blanked off corners of the
insert must be positioned in the
corner of the mobile unit, i.e. in the
corners of the wash area. This part
of the insert is not used for bottles
because water from the spray arms
cannot get into the bottles
sufficiently to clean them properly.
If the process is not to be followed
by sterilisation, the load should be
dried completely to avoid the
development of water-borne
bacteria.
A sufficient drying time is, therefore,
absolutely essential.
After cleaning, disinfecting and drying
bottles can be refilled in the insert.
^
First take the lid off the insert.
^
Then fill the bottles, replace their
caps and store in a cool place until
required.
"Loading the manual" means you need to wait until the file loads and becomes available for online reading. Some manuals are very large, and the time they take to appear depends on your internet speed.
