Wireless Thermometer

View temperature with a glanc e. Precise real-time indoor and
outdoor temperature with MIN/MAX readings in Fahrenheit or
Celsius, manual set time and alarm with snooze.
SETUP INSTRUCTIONS STEP BY STEP
STEP 1:
•
Ensure that the transmitter is within 10 feet of the
W ireless Thermom eter.
•
Remove battery cover from TX19 transmitter.
•
Insert 2 new AAA batteries (not included) into the
transmitter. Observe the c orrect polarity.
STEP 2:
•
Remove battery cover from the W ireless
Therm ometer (follow the arrow on the bottom of the battery
cover).
•
Insert 2 new AAA batteries (not included) into
the bac k of the W ireless Therm ometer.
Observe the c orrect polarity (see marking
inside the battery c ompartment).
•
W ithin 3 minutes, the W ireless Therm ometer
will show readings in the outdoor temperature
area on the wireless therm ometer.
Note:
Allow the W ireless Thermometer and
the transmitter to stay within 10 feet of each
other for the first 15 minutes of set up.
•
Do Not Mix Old and New Batteries
•
Do Not Mix Alkaline, Standard, Lithium or Rechargeable
Batteries
TROUBLE SHOOTING
•
If the W ireless Thermom eter does not display the outdoor
temperature after 3 minutes, remove the batteries from both units
and repeat the setup proc ess.
•
From normal display, hold the UP ARROW button for 3 sec onds
to searc h for the outdoor temperature transmitter.
•
For optimal 433MHz signal rec eption, the outdoor transmitter
should be plac ed within 100 feet (30 meters) from the indoor
W ireless Thermom eter.
The outdoor temperature reception icon will flash:
•
During initial setup, for up to three minutes, until it
connects with the transmitter.
•
About every minute afterw ards as the wireless
thermom eter rec eives an update.
•
W hen the UP ARROW button is held for 3 sec onds to begin a
search for the transmitter.
SET TIME
In Time mode, hold the TIME button for 3 sec onds to set the time.
•
HOUR:
The Hour will flash. Press and release the ARROW
buttons to select the correct hour. Press and release the TIME
button onc e to move to the minutes.
•
MINUTES:
The Minutes will flash. Press and release the
ARROW buttons to select the c orrect minutes. Press and release
the TIME button onc e more to exit the program menu.
SELECT THE TIME AND TEMPERATURE FORMAT
The Thermom eter either defaults to °C with 24 hr. time or °F with 12
hr. time. Both set up instructions are below:
LOW BATTERY ICON
The low battery icon will show above the outdoor
temperature when it is time to change batteries.
MAXIMUM/MINIMUM TEMPERATURE READINGS
VIEW:
Press and release the MIN/MAX button
onc e to show the maximum temperature
rec ords. Press and release the MIN/MAX button
again to view the minimum temperatures. Press
and release the MIN/MAX button a third time to
return to current temperature.
RESET:
Hold the MAX/MIN key for 2 sec onds
to manually clear all the MIN/MAX rec ords.
ALARM SET
From Time mode, press and release the ALARM button to switch to
Alarm Mode. The letters “AL” will appear betw een the hours and the
minutes. In Alarm Mode hold the ALARM button for 3 sec onds to
enter alarm set mode.
•
HOUR:
The Hour will flash. Press and release the ARROW
buttons to select the correct hour. Press and release the ALARM
button onc e to move to the minutes.
•
MINUTES:
The Minutes will flash. Press and release the
ARROW buttons to select the c orrect minutes. Press and release
the ALARM button onc e more to exit the program menu.
Note:
W hen the alarm sounds, it continues for 2 minutes and then
shuts off c ompletely.
SNOOZE
•
W hen the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button to silenc e the
alarm for 5 minutes. The alarm icon will flash.
•
The snooze function c an be repeated.
•
Press any other button to turn the alarm off for 24 hours.
ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE ALARM
From Time mode, press and release the ALARM button to switch to
Alarm mode. The letters “AL” will appear betw een the hours and the
minutes.
ACTIVATE: In Alarm mode, press and release the UP ARROW
button to activat e the alarm. The alarm icon will appear.
DEACTIVATE: In Alarm mode, with the bell ic on visible, press and
release the UP ARROW button to deactivate the alarm. The bell ic on
disappears.
CELSIUS DEFAULT
•
Default temperature
reading is in Celsius.
•
From Time mode, press
and release the °F/°C
button to select Fahrenheit
temperature readout.
24 HOUR TIME
•
Default time format is 24
hour time form at.
•
From Time mode, press
and release the 12/24h
button to select 12 hour
time readout.
FAHRENHEIT DEFAULT
•
Default temperature
reading is in Fahrenheit.
•
From Time mode, press
and release the °F/°C
button to select Celsius
temperature readout.
12 HOUR TIME
•
Default time format is 12
hour time form at.
•
From Time mode, press
and release the 12/24h
button to select 24 hour
time readout.
