Preparing to Install the Chassis
The Cisco ONS 15540 ESP chassis is designed for rack-mounting in a cabinet rack. Use star-type lock
washers on the rack screws to ensure a good conductive connection between the chassis and the rack.
For information about installing the units in a customer cabinet, see the instructions from the cabinet
manufacturer.
Three chassis fit in a standard rack. However, if you use the external AC-input power supply, you can
install two chassis with the power supply.
"Loading the manual" means you need to wait until the file loads and becomes available for online reading. Some manuals are very large, and the time they take to appear depends on your internet speed.
