You’ll get the best performance from your AppleShare network and be able to
use new AppleShare IP features (such as using TCP/IP to connect to a file
server) by installing the following software:

System 7.5.3 or later

Open Transport 1.1.2 or later
m
AppleShare Client 3.7
Note: You cannot use MacTCP to make a TCP connection to an AppleShare
IP Web & File Server.
