Installation

Note: Prior to installation, make a copy of your data to avoid any data loss
should a mistake be made during the install.

1. Remove the 3.5” chassis from the U258-035

enclosure.

2. Connect the 15-Pin and 7-Pin SATA connectors

to the corresponding SATA ports on the 3.5”

hard drive.

3. Slide the chassis back into the U258-035

enclosure. Secure the chassis to the enclosure using

the provided screws.

4. Connect the included USB cable or 7-Pin eSATA

cable from the U258-035 to your computer.

5. Connect the included power supply to the

U258-035, and then plug it into an appropriate

power source.

6. Turn on the U258-035 using the On/Off rocker

switch on the unit.
