General Warnings
• Before connection, make sure that your UPS system is turned OFF, both input and output breakers are switched OFF and that the system is
disconnected from AC power. (See UPS Owner’s Manual.)
• Before connection, you must set your SU6000XFMRRT3U’s DIP switches to receive the appropriate voltage (208V or 240V). Your
SU6000XFMRRT3U will not convert AC input to the correct voltage. (See UPS Owner’s Manual.)

For Hardwire Models:
Please refer to the requirements of the National Electric Code and local ordinances for installation guidelines.
Installation
must be handled by qualified service personnel only!
• Properly sized input protection must be provided by the end user.
Installation
• Thread the exposed end of the power cord through the knockout on the UPS or transformer’s terminal block.
• Connect the colored wires to the UPS, PDU or Transformer’s terminal block according to the diagrams below.
• Tighten the power cord’s strain relief and affix it to the knockout.
• For the SU6000RT4UHVG and SMX5000XLRT3U use the cable clamp already installed on the PDU or UPS.
• For the SU6000RT3U and SU6000RT3UHV use the cable clamp included with the power cord.
