24-Hour Time Display

You may change the display from the 12-Hour format with

AM/PM

indicators to the

24-Hour format, often called ‘military time’. In the 24-Hour format midnight is displayed

as “0:00”, 1:00 PM is displayed as “13:00”, 6:00 PM is displayed as “18:00”, etc.

To change the display format, remove the battery compartment cover and use a

straightened paper-clip, a toothpick, or similar object to press the

12/24 Hour

Button

(see Fig. 2. for 12/24 Hour Button location inside of battery door).

Snooze Function

While the alarm is sounding you may activate the Snooze function by gently pressing
down on the top cabinet. The alarm sound stops for 5 minutes and then turns on
again. The Snooze operation may be repeated several times if desired.

Deactivating The Alarm

Set the ALM OFF/SNZ switch to the ALM OFF position to deactivate the alarm. The
Snooze indicator and Alarm Indicator will disappear from the display.

Indiglo Night Light

To view the clock display in a darkened room, gently press down on the top cabinet.
The display back lighting turns on for 5 seconds, then shuts off automatically.

Flashlight Operation

Pull the left side cap outward to turn the flashlight ‘On’. Push the cap back in to turn
the flashlight ‘Off’. Note: Frequent use of the flashlight will shorten the battery life.

Battery Level Indicator

The battery level indicator in the LCD display shows the condition of the batteries,

and indicates when the batteries should be replaced. Refer to the table below:

Battery Installation

Installing the Batteries

Remove the battery compartment cover by pressing on both of the locking tabs

together and lifting the cover upward.
Insert 4 “AAA” batteries in the battery compartment located at rear. We recommend

using a well-known brand of alkaline batteries for longest life and best performance.

Be sure to insert the batteries according to the polarity markings engraved in the

compartment. If the batteries are inserted incorrectly the unit will not work.
Replace the battery compartment cover and make sure it is securely locked.
