CD-R/RW DVD-R/R DL/RW DVD+R/RW Playback: Disc may not be played back because of following reasons:
recording characteristics of recorder, characteristics of disc, scratches and dust on disc, dust and condensation
on pickup lens. CD-R/CD-RW Playback: CD-R/CD-RW discs for Audio, recorded in CD Audio, Video CD or MP3/
WMA/MPEG-4 AAC audio formatting can be played back. Unfinalized discs cannot be played back. DVD-R/R DL/
RW Playback: Unfinalized discs cannot be played back.

JPEG file compatibility: This player is compatible with FUJI COLOR CD and KODAK Picture CD formats, as well
as CD-R/CD-RW/CD-ROMs containing JPEG files.
A CD recording format should be in accordance with ISO9660 Level1 or Level2 CD-ROM file system. DVD record-
ing format should be in accordance with UDF Bridge file system. Note that if the file structure is very complex, you
may not be able to read/play all files on the disc.
USB interface
The USB interface is compatible with USB mass storage devices including external magnetic hard devices,
portable flash memory (particularly key drives) and digital audio players (MP3 players) of format FAT 16/32. It is
not possible to connect this unit to a personal computer for USB playback. Pioneer cannot guarantee compatibili-
ty (operation and/or bus power) with all USB mass storage devices and assumes no responsibility for any loss of
data that may occur when connected to this unit. With large amounts of data, it may take longer for the system to
read the contents of a USB device.
