Spectral Lamp Power Supply and Mount

Introduction:
The PASCO Model SF-9288 Spectral Lamp Power Sup-
ply and Mount is designed for use with Osram 9 pin DIN
base, 21 mm diameter spectral lamps. The Mercury lamp
(SF-9282) is available from PASCO scientific.

Changing spectral lamps is easy, so a single power supply
can be used to power any one of the Osram lamps.
To use the Spectral Lamp Power Supply and Lamp:

Insert a spectral lamp as shown on the back of this
page.

Plug the round, three-pronged plug from the lamp
mount into the socket on the front of the power supply.

Plug the power supply power cord into a grounded
107-128 VAC, 60 Hz or 206-242 VAC, 50 Hz outlet.
(See label on rear of unit).

Flip the ON/OFF Switch on the front of the power
supply to ON.

Allow about five minutes warm up time.
If, at any time, the lamp fails to come on, check the fuse
on the rear panel of the power supply. If the fuse is
blown, replace only with a similarly rated fuse:

follow the procedure shown on the back of this page.

of the presence of important operating
and maintenance (servicing) instruc-
tions in the literature accompanying the
appliance.
