This kit is designed as an advance rebuild kit for MSD Pro-Billet Distributors (except the GM HEI).
1. Remove the cap and rotor.
2. Remove the advance springs and the small aluminum spacers from the weight pins.
3. Pull off the weights and the weight pads.
4. Push the new weight pads into place on the advance plate.
5. Position the new weights on the pins followed by the aluminum spacers.
6. Install the advance springs making sure that they seat in the groove on the pin.
7. Install a new cap and rotor.
