Pull Chain Wiring Diagram
From Power Source:
1. White connects to the white wire from the motor.
2. Black connects to the black leads (Labeled “L”) on the Pull Switch.
3. Green connects to the green ground screw on the casing.
From Fan Motor:
4. Red inserts into the terminal (Labeled “2”) on the Pull Switch.
5. Black inserts into the terminal (Labeled “1”) on the Pull Switch.
(Ensure connections are as shown)
Order of Operation
●
First pull on chain: High speed.
●
Second pull on chain: Low Speed.
●
Third pull on chain: Fan off.
(repeat)
NOTE: Follow all Electrical Codes when installing. Remove power from the circuit before connecting wires.
