A plug-in Ethernet card offering connectivity is standard on the

EPL-C8000EN/ENT, the latest in fast Ethernet technology, 10BaseT/100BaseTX

comprehensive support is provided for the majority of networks including

Novell, Windows NT and Unix networks. Further optional network interfaces are

available for Twinax or Coax connections to IBM mini and mainframe systems.

Network connectivity for the EPL-C8000PS configuration is provided via the

RIP station 5000 series II, providing 10Base5, 10Base2 and 100BaseTX

connectivity.

EPSON’s new advanced network connectivity also features a range of network

management software designed to provide remote status monitoring and

configuration for administrators and end users across the Network:

• Remote status monitoring is enabled with EPSON Status Monitor

2, which provides the end user client or network administrator
with an easy to use tool for providing detailed printer
status information.

• EPSON Net2 printer management software provides an efficient

and easy to use configuration tool or web page remote
configuration of the printer for IPX/SPX, NDS, TCP/IP
and EtherTalk protocols.
