IMPORTANT - READ OPERATOR'S MANUAL BEFORE O P E R A T I O N OR MAKING ADJUSTMENTS

Deluxe Seat Adjustment

Easy hand lever action allows forward and back movement of seat. No bolts to loosen
or tighten.

Mower Blade Operation

To start mower blades, p u l l out on blade drive switch handle, then lift to "ON"

position.

To stop mower blades, move switch handle to "OFF" position.

Body Removal

1. Disconnect throttle cable from engine.

2. Disconnect the rear wiring loom from the body by l i g h t l y squeezing the

Econo-Seal plug. This plug is located at the left rear of the body.

3. Remove 4 control lever bolts and remove upper control levers (P/N 9079 &

9080).

4. Remove the 2 attach nuts on floor of body and unfasten latches located on

each side of body at rear.

5. Place height adjustment lever in vertical position, engage parking brake

and carefully lift body up and off chassis.

6. Reverse the above procedure for assembly.

2 . Disengage the mower deck and start the engine. With operator in normal m o w i n g

p o s i t i o n , e n g a g e m o w e r d e c k a n d r e m o v e w e i g h t f r o m s e a t . T h e e n g i n e s h o u l d s t o p .
I f e n g i n e d o e s n o t s t o p w h e n o p e r a t o r r i s e s f r o m s e a t , r e t u r n to an Authorized

Dixon Dealer for adjustment or repair.

Parking Brake Adjustment

R e m o v e b o d y a s d e s c r i b e d a b o v e . A d j u s t m e n t p o i n t s a r e l o c a t e d a t r e a r of trans - a x l e

o n e a c h s i d e . R e m o v e c o t t e r p i n f r o m s w i v e l f i t t i n g ( P / N 2 1 7 2 ) . T u r n swivel fitting

on brake rod (P/N 5100) in to tighten - just enough to prevent brake from slipping
when engaged. CAUTION: Over tightening may cause premature wear on brake b and (P/N

5085).

Mower Drive Belt Adjustment

No adjustment necessary, the spring - loaded idler pulley maintains proper tension

throughout belt life.

Removing Mower Deck

1. Remove mower deck drive belt (P/N 6111) by p u l l i n g i d l e r a s s e m b l y ( P / N 1 6 7 1 )

away from belt, and remove belt from rear pulley.

2 . R e m o v e 4 a t t a c h p i n s ( P / N 6 1 0 7 ) a n d c l i p s f r o m 4 m o w e r d e c k a t t a c h p o i n t s and 2

stabilizer bars (P/N 6159).

3 . R a i s e f r o n t o f m o w e r c h a s s i s a n d r o l l f r e e o f m o w e r d e c k f o r s e r v i c e a n d / o r

replacement.

4 . T o r e - inst a l l , r e v e r s e t h e a b o v e p r o c e d u r e .

Removing Mower Cutter Blade

Secure mower cutter blade (P/N 6013) from turning (observe blade position when

removing) remove blade bolt from center of blade.

WARNING: Due to possible sharp edges on the cutter blade, caution should be used
when service is required on the blades to prevent injury.
