1. T he Vehic le a ntenna is c ut off from the ra dio when
the power is s upplied to the F M modula tor via S W 1.
P ower to the modula tor mus t be s witc hed off in
order to rec eive norma l AM/F M rec eption.
2. T he F M modula tor is des igned to a c c ept “ L ine L evel”
s igna ls only. T hes e “ s igna ls ” require a mplific a tion to
drive hea dphones or s pea kers . (Inputting “ H igher”
level a udio s igna ls (hea dphone, externa l s pea ker etc )
will override the ra dio a nd c a us e unwa nted nois e.
R educ ing higher level inputs c a n be a c hieved through
the us e of s pec ia l “ a ttenua tors ” or line level reduc ers . )
3. S W 2 is us ed to s elec t the modula tor frequenc y. T he
ra dio mus t be turned to the s a me frequenc y tha t wa s
s elec ted by S witc h S W 2.
