User Instructions
HALOGEN LAMP WARNING
This fixture is fitted with a halogen lamp
which is highly susceptible to damage if
improperly handled. Never touch the lamp
with bare fingers, as the oil from your hands
will shorten the lamp life. Also, never move
fixture until lamp has had ample time to
cool. Remember, lamps are not covered
under warranty conditions.

product. For your convenience
this lighting effect has been lamped and tested at American DJ
®
. The ONYX II™ is ready to be used,
attaching the hanging bracket is the only assembly required.
Please read the following instructions
before attempting to install or use your new unit.
FEATURES
The Onyx II™ is a super DMX 512 moonflower effects. It features a single color /gobo wheel with
10 single color, 4 two colored, and 1 multi-colored gobos plus a white spot, for a total of 16. The
Onyx II™ can run in Master/Slave mode or by DMX via XLR connections on the rear of the unit. In
master/slave mode the Onyx II™ will run through it’s several programs. The unit includes an internal
microphone for sound activation. The Onyx II™ comes with a hanging bracket, and is fan cooled.
The Onyx II™ is compact, and light weight making it great for mobile DJ’s and bands. The Onyx
II™ may be controlled by an optional (sold separately) ONYX-II/C™ Controller (controls black out
only). This unit may also be controlled by a standard DMX controller such as the American DJ
®
Show Designer.™
