To Use Photo Cell Timer

Slide Switch To “Photo Cell”

Push the

“Mode”

button once. You will see the words

“On At Dusk, OFF 0:00 At Dawn.”

This means that

the plugged-in devices will power ON when it gets

dark, and will power OFF at sunrise.

Push the

“Photo Set”

button repeatedly to cycle

through the different Dusk to Dawn options. You may

have your devices turn ON at Dusk, and turn OFF from

1 to 12 hours after dusk.

Push the

“Mode”

button once to finish program-

ming. It is okay if the current time displayed is not

correct; the Photocell timer will still work correctly. If

desired, you may set the current time by following the

instructions to the left.

Manual On/Off

The timer can be manually turned On or Off
as desired.

• Push the ON/OFF/AUTO button to change the current

mode to On, Off, or Auto (follow the timer settings).

Packaging and Use Instructions

General:

An outdoor seasonal-use cord-connected wiring device shall contain all of the following or equivalent statements (following the word CAUTION) on the

outer surface of the smallest unit package or on a stuffer sheet or tag (or its equivalent):

CAUTION – Risk of Fire

. Not for permanent installation. Use only with a total of 12 Ampere maximum Christmas-tree or other seasonal lighting products. Do not

install or use this product for more than a 90-day period.

If using Christmas tree or decorative-lighting products that are not marked with an ampere rating, connect no more than 140 screw-base lamps (C7 or C9) or 12

strings with midget (pushin) lamps to this cord set.

Cord sets shall be plugged into a GFCI-protected receptacle.

If using an outdoor-use cord set for an extended period of time (greater than 90 days) please consider hard wiring a permanent outdoor-use receptacle rated for

year-round use in the area that power is needed. Please contact a Licensed electrician for proper installation of permanent wiring.

After completion of installation, the connector shall be maintained a minimum of 6 inches above ground.

For temporary outdoor installation and use - Not to exceed 90 days

To Use Digital Timer

Slide Switch To

Timer

To Set the Current Time While time appears in the LCD.

Push “

Set Time

” button once. The time display will be flashing. (If the display stops flashing

before you finish, just push

“Set Time”

again to continue.)

Push the “

Day

” button until the current day appears on top.

Push the “

Hour

” button until the current hour appears. Be sure to cycle through the hours until

AM

or

PM

appears to the right of the time.

Push the “

Min

” button until the current minute appears. (Holding the

“Min”

button down will

make the minutes advance rapidly.)

Push the

“Set Time”

button to finish the program – the display will stop flashing. (If it stops

flashing before you push the button, that’s okay.)

To Set Program
Slide Switch To “Timer”

- be sure to set the current time first (see left)

Push the

“Mode”

button once. The words

“Program #1 ON”

will appear. We will now set the

time for your plugged-in devices to turn ON.

Push the

“Set Time”

button once. The time display will be flashing. (If the display stops

flashing before you finish, just push

“Set Time”

again to continue.)

All of the days of the week will appear on top. This means that the On/Off times you set will

run every day of the week. To have the program run only on specific days, push the

“Day”

button to cycle through the different day options. The choices in order are:

Push the “

Hour

” button until the desired ON hour appears. Be sure to cycle through the hours

until

AM

or

PM

appears to the right of the time.

Push the “

Min

” button until the desired ON minute appears.

Push the

“Set Time”

button to finish the program - the display will stop flashing. (If it stops

flashing before you push the button, that’s okay.)

Push the

“Next Program”

button. The words

“Program #1 OFF”

will appear.

Repeat

-

to set the OFF time.

Push the

“Mode”

button to finish the program and return to the current time.

You are now finished setting Program #1. To set additional programs, push

“Mode”

to enter

the programming mode and then

“Next Program”

to reach Program 2, 3, etc. Up to 6

programs can be entered.

NOTE:

The digital timer turns On and Off when the current time matches the time you set in the

program, and is not retroactive. This means that if the current time is

5pm

and you set the

timer to turn ON at

4pm

, the program will not run until

tomorrow

at

4pm

.

NOTE:

To set up Timer for the first time, plug in the timer for 10 minutes, then push the “

Reset”

button to clear all settings.
