Terms and Conditions

1. Customers purchasing a selected Sony HDD Handycam model at par ticipating stores bet ween

the 22 November 20 07 and 24 December 20 07 inclusive may claim a £30 cashback, additional
£10 cashback or £ 50 cashback (in the form of a cheque). Customers purchasing a selected Sony
High Definition HDD Handycam model at participating stores between the 22 November 2007 and
24 December 20 07 inclusive may also claim a free copy of AVC HD Sony Vegas 7 editing software.
All purchases and mailing addresses must be within the UK.

2. Models included in this promotion are: Handycam: DCR-SR32E, DCR-SR33E, DCR-SR52E, DCR-SR72E,

DCR-SR190E, DCR-SR290E, HDR-SR5E, HDR-SR7E and HDR-SR8E. Battery model includes: NPFH70.

3. To claim your £30 cashback, additional £10 cashback or £50 cashback (in the form of a cheque)

please send your completed claim form, clearly stating who the cheque should be made payable to,
together with your original sales receipt(s) and European Guarantee Information Document to:

4. To receive your free copy of AVC HD Sony Vegas 7 editing software please send your completed claim

form, together with your original sales receipt(s) and European Guarantee Information Document to:

5. ALL CLAIM FORMS SHOULD BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 25 February 2008. NO CLAIM FORMS WILL BE

ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DATE. (If the purchase was via a credit agreement, please supply a copy of the
agreement as well as the sales receipt.)

6. The cashback is not available on product which has not been supplied and distributed by

Sony United Kingdom Limited within the UK and Republic of Ireland. Please check with your
dealer to ensure your Handycam is eligible before purchasing to avoid disappointment.

7. Your original sales receipt and European Guarantee Information Document will be returned to you

with your cheque.

8. Should you have any queries on your application, please phone the Sony Hotline on: 01379 649499.

9. Only original claim forms will be accepted. We suggest you make copies of all documents before

posting them and send claims via signed for post.

10. Proof of posting will not be accepted a s proof of receipt. No res pons ibilit y can be accepted for

claim forms lost, damaged or delayed in transit.

11. Illegible or altered claim forms will be deemed void, as will claim forms not completed in accordance

with these Terms and Conditions.

12. Please allow 28 days for receipt of your cheque. Should your cheque not arrive, or should there be

a problem with your cheque on receipt please call the hotline on: 01379 649499.

13. There is no credit alternative to this offer.

14. Employees of Sony United Kingdom Limited, their agents, their family and anyone connected are not

eligible to participate in this promotion.

15. All instructions given within this leaflet and claim form are part of these Terms and Conditions.

16. By claiming the £30 cashback, additional £10 cashback, £50 cashback or free AVC HD Sony Vegas 7

editing software, applicants will be deemed to have read and accepted these terms and conditions.
