INTERIOR WINDOW GUARDS
FOR 2002-2008 FORD EXPLORER
TOOLS REQUIRED:
Power drill
Magic marker or pencil
Phillips screwdriver
1/8” drill bit
3/16” drill bit
Safety Goggles
Snips or cutter for plastic trim
Ratchet wrench with 7/16” socket
HARDWARE FOR PASSENGER DOORS (WGI-F13-1 & WGI-F13-6):

#10 X 1/2” Sheet metal screws

INSTALLATION:
(PASSENGER DOORS)

Hold window guard up to the window frame, and while pushing down against the door window
frame, mark mounting hole locations. Remove guard and drill out mounting holes with 1/8” drill
bit. Attach guards with #10 X 1/2” sheet metal screws.
