The FC-2090C is the latest addition to

EIZO’s line-up of advanced display products

designed for softcopy medical viewing. Ideal for

CR, MRI, CT, DSA and other imaging modalities,

its versatile mounting and viewing options and

high resolution combine to offer a compact, high-

performance way to upgrade from the bulky CRT-

based systems of the past.

The FC-2090C’s 3-megapixel (QXGA:

1536

2048) resolution gets right down to the

details of every image. Its 10.5-bit processor can

display 256 shades of gray from a palette of 1531,

assuring accurately-differentiated rendering of the

most delicate grayscale shadings. A DVI-D input

provides a direct digital connection from the PC

with no deterioration in image quality.

The demanding standards of image clarity

imposed by medical applications are met by a dual

domain IPS panel with an ultra-fine 0.207 mm

pixel pitch, high resolution and 600:1 contrast

ratio. Horizontal and vertical viewing angles are

, so several screens can be viewed simul-

taneously from one position, and the high 650 cd/m

brightness makes images easy to see in any ambient

light conditions.

Within 30 seconds of startup or coming out

of power save mode, a drift correction circuit

stabilizes the brightness level to produce accurate

images with a minimum of waiting.

A U T O B R I G H T N E S S C O N T R O L

An EIZO patented circuit eliminates bright-

ness fluctuation by detecting changes in the back-

light brightness, and automatically adjusting the

divergence to the brightness default setting or any

level defined by the user.
