Suggested Tools for Installation:

3/8" ratchet and metric sockets

Sawzall or Hacksaw

Jack and jackstands

Liquid penetrant and rubber lubricant

DISASSEMBLY

1. Raise vehicle and support with proper jackstands for

the weight, leaving the suspension hanging.

2. Use caution around hot exhaust systems to avoid

burns.

3. Using a sawzall or hacksaw, cut the factory I-pipe 6”

back from the front face of the 2-bolt flange.

4. Use penetrating oil on all hanger isolators.

5. Use a long pry bar to pull the rubber isolators off of

the pipe hangers.

6. Remove the old system. In some cases, you will find

it easier to cut the overaxle pipe to remove it.

ASSEMBLY

1. Using a 2-1/2” band clamp, install the new I-pipe

onto the pipe that was cut behind the OE 2-bolt
flange, engage hanger into rubber isolator.

Only

snug the clamp at this time.

2. Slip the muffler onto the intermediate pipe with a

2-1/2” band clamp on the front.

NOTE:

Inlet end of

muffler is marked. Snug the clamp so you can adjust
the system later.

3. Place a 2-1/2” band clamp on the outlet of the

muffler.

4. Install the overaxle pipe and engage it into the stock

rubber hanger isolators. Snug the clamps.

5. Slip tailpipe onto overaxle pipe, install 3” band clamp

and snug clamp.

6. Check for clearance to body, frame, and driveline as

you tighten the system from front to rear.

7. Check for leaks and correct, if necessary.

WARNING!!!

Exhaust gas contains carbon monoxide, a deadly invisible gas.

Correct any leaks before driving!

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Proper installation is the responsibility of the installer. Improper installation will void warranty and may

result in poor performance and engine or vehicle damage.
