Assembly

WARNING:

For your own safety, read the tool instruction manual

before using any accessory. Failure to heed these warnings may
result in personal injury and serious damage to the planer and the
accessory. When servicing this tool, use only identical replacement
parts.

STEP 1: ATTACH THE FOOT PEDAL AND WHEELS

The foot pedal assembly (C) for your planer stand can be mounted
inboard or outboard on the mobile base.

1. Align the holes on the pedal clamp with the holes on the short

tubular bracket on the base (on the same side as the feed).

2. Position the foot pedal assembly (C) in the inboard or outboard

position.

3. Insert the 2 shoulder bolts (L) through the holes in the pedal and

the tubing in the base.

4. Secure the pedal to the base by tightening the lock washers (O)

and nuts (P) with a 13mm socket and wrench.

CAUTION:

When the pedal is in the outboard position on the

stand, keep the mobile planer stand out of walkways. Tripping
and/or other personal injury may result.

5. Assemble the wheel bracket (E) to the frame using 2 carriage

bolts (N), 2 washers (O), and 2 nuts (P).

NOTE:

The carriage bolt (N) is used to attach the leg and wheel

to the base.

6. Place the shoulder bolt (L) through the wheel bracket (E), wheel

(D) and long tubular bracket of the base until the threads pro-
trude from the inside of the tubing. Fasten the wheels to the base
with a lock nut (R) until the nut is snug and the wheel turns freely.

STEP 2: ATTACH THE LEGS AND SUPPORT BRACKETS

1. Place the base in the upright position to attach the legs to the

corners using 4 carriage bolts (N). Tighten the nuts (P) and lock
washers (O) with a 13mm socket or wrench.

2 Attach the short sides (G) to the inside of the legs (F) using 8

carriage bolts (N), 8 lock washers (O), and 8 nuts (P). Use the
socket or wrench to tighten. Be sure the holes in the sides are
aligned with the locating divots provided.

3. Attach the long sides (H) to the inside of the legs (F), overlap-

ping the short sides, using 8 carriage bolts (N), 8 lock washers

(O), and 8 nuts (P). Use the socket or wrench to tighten. Be
sure the holes in the sides are aligned with the locating divots
provided.

4. Attach the tubular side brackets (I) to the inside middle of the

legs (F) with 4 carriage bolts (N), 4 lock washers (O) and 4 nuts
(P). Use 13mm socket or wrench to tighten.

5. Attach the MDF top to the sides using the 4 Phillips head screws

(K), 4 each of the washers (Q) and nuts (P).

STEP 3: ATTACH THE PLANER TO THE STAND

WARNING:

For your own safety, it is recommended that two

people carry this machine or serious injury could result.
