Latest Mobile Intel Pentium III Processor-M

with a new Intel 830 chipset

The Latitude C610 is equipped with the latest
advancement from Intel, the new Mobile Intel
Pentium III Processor-M up to 1.2GHz and a new
Intel 830 Chipset. These all-new processors
incorporate the latest manufacturing technologies
that shrink the chip to a 0.13m process. This
improves both speed and efficiency. Other great
features include: a 33% increase in the speed of
processor support bus (PSB) and the memory
speed to 133MHz, a 100% increase
in the L2 cache to 512MB, and
twice the memory capacity up to
1.0GB of RAM.

The Latitude C610 features an ATI
Mobility RADEON graphics engine with
128-bit technology, 4X AGP, and 16MB of
double data rate (DDR) SDRAM video memory.
ATI Mobility RADEON chipset brings dramatic
improvements in 3D graphics performance. (Up to
150% faster than previous Latitude C600
performance depending on benchmark) Choose
from a 14.1" XGA (1024 x 768) TFT LCD or an
optional high density 14.1" SXGA+ (1400 x 1050)
on 1.2GHz configurations.

The Latitude C610 is wireless ready. Each system
has dual integrated antennas, so you work
untethered without susceptible external cards or
antennas. You can also upgrade to wireless
communications anytime in the future with easy to
install customer kits.

The C610 features a standard fully integrated 56K

V.92 capable modem and 10/100 Ethernet. An
internal MiniPCI slot is designed to exclusively
support 802.11 wireless technology. This
combination allows greater user flexibility as the
external PCMCIA slot can support other devices
even when maximum communication versatility is
required. For wireless users, the external Ethernet
indicator lights will also indicate wireless activity,
just like you are plugged into the network.

Increased flexibility and comfort

The Dell DualPoint integrated pointing device,
which incorporates both a touchpad and a flush
fitting track stick, provides the flexibility of using

either device or both at the same

time.
