1080i with MPEG-4 part 10/H.264 format. High-definition video offers

Advanced Video Coding
ZyXEL’s STB-1003 offers IP video services, such as Video-on-Demand and
IPT V, based on MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 compression technology to reach a
wider audience or achieve a higher density of service, and thus increased
bandwidth efficiency. This enables Telcos to expand their subscriber base
and offer two or more video streams per household, where only one was
previously possible - creating opportunities for substantially increased
revenues and faster return on their IPT V investments.

Support for Middleware Solutions
The STB-1003 is supported by leading IPT V middleware providers for
