With Wi-Fi Multimedia ( WMM), base on a subnet of the IEEE 802.11e WLAN QoS draft
standard, the NBG334S improves the user experience for audio, video, and voice
application over wireless network. Multimedia applications are highly sensitive to
latency and throughput reductions and require QoS. WMM defines four access
categories (voice, video, best effort, and background) that are used to prioritize traffic
to provide enhanced multimedia support.
