CONSTRUCTION OF THE FIREBOX OR ITS COMPO-
NENTS. ANY MODIFICATION OR ALTERATION OF
CONSTRUCTION MAY VOID THE WARRANTY OF
THIS FIREBOX.
CHILDREN AND ADULTS SHOULD BE ALERTED TO
THE HAZARDS OF HIGH SURFACE TEMPERATURE
AND SHOULD STAY AWAY TO AVOID BURNS OR
CLOTHING IGNITION.
YOUNG CHILDREN SHOULD BE CAREFULLY SUPER-
VISED WHEN THEY ARE IN THE SAME ROOM AS THE
FIREBOX.

Carefully review the instructions supplied with the decora-
tive type unvented room heater for the minimum fireplace
size requirement.
DO NOT INSTALL A VENT-FREE LOG SET IN THIS
FIREBOX, UNLESS THIS FIREBOX MEETS THE
M I N I M U M D I M E N S I O N S R E Q U I R E D F O R T H E
INSTALLATION.

ANSI Z21.91 Ventless Fireplace Enclosures for Gas Fired Dec-
orative Type Unvented Room Heaters
— Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors
and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appli-
ance.
— WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS
• Do not try to light any appliance.
• Do not touch any electrical switch; do not use any
phone in your building.
• Immediately call your gas supplier from a neigh-
bor’s phone. Follow the gas supplier’s instruc-
tions.
• If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the fire
department.
— Installation and service must be performed by a quali-
fied installer, service agency or the gas supplier.
WARNING: If the information in these instructions are
not followed exactly, a fire or explosion may result caus-
ing property damage, personal injury or loss of life.
