Dear Toro Dealer,

As the seasons change and we reflect on this past year we’re reminded of why they call
outdoor power equipment a seasonal business! This past season punctuated the usual
ups and downs

that we’ve become accustomed to and kept us guessing on what to expect

next. However, as we enter fall and reflect on the L&G season, the net result for outdoor
power equipment dealers was another good year across many product categories.

At Toro, we remain focused on providing you with the best outdoor power solutions in
each of the markets we serve along with exceptional service before, during and after the
sale. We cannot choose the weather, but we can choose our part

ners. And we’re proud

that our dealer partnerships span across thousands of dealers and, in many cases,
several decades. Thank you for your continued support of Toro and the Toro brand.

In 2017, we will once again enhance our product offering with more powerful walk power
mowers, new residential and commercial riding products and exciting new products to
improve contractor productivity. At the same time, we’re making important changes in our
programs and processes to provide best-in-class service to our independent dealers.

One important program change is to our Toro credit card retail finance program.

We’re

very excited about a new partnership with Citibank, replacing Synchrony Financial, as the
program administrator. As a result of this change you should expect to see more
customer friendly promotion fees, new credit promotions designed to drive incremental
retail sales of Toro product, and an easier to use processing system. Be sure to complete
and return the program enrollment application ASAP so you can take advantage of our
aggressive introductory promotion beginning in November!

Enclosed you will find the 2017 Direct Dealer Program Manual, which includes all the
details on these exciting new products and programs. Your pre-season booking order is
crucial to help us plan production and to understand product mix expectations
