Step 1: Selecting a Location
Select a location that is:
• near an accessible AC outlet
• near a telephone line jack
• away from electrical machinery, electrical
appliances, metal walls or fi ling cabinets,
wireless intercoms, alarms, and room
monitors
• away from other cordless phones
Step 2: Connecting the Phone Base
1. Plug one end of the modular cord into
the
TEL LINE
jack. Then plug the other
end into a modular phone line jack.
2. Plug the AC adapter’s barrel plug
into the
DC IN 9V
jack and route the
adapter’s cord through the strain relief
slot on the base. Then plug the AC
adapter into a standard AC outlet.
Step 3: Installing the
Charger
1. Insert the supplied AC adapter’s barrel
plug into the
DC IN 9V
jack.
2. Route the
cord through
the groove
and plug the
adapter into a
standard AC
outlet.
Step 4: Connecting and Charging the
Battery Packs
1. Remove the cover.
2. Connect the battery pack with the
correct polarity.
3. Replace the cover.
4. Place the handsets in the base or
chargers. Make sure that charge
LED illuminates.
Before using your phone, you must
charge the handsets 15-20 hours.
Step 5: Making and Receiving a Call
To Make a Call
1. Pick up the handset.
2. Press
TALK/FLASH
.
3. Dial the number.
To Receive a Call
1. Pick up the handset.
2. Press
TALK/FLASH
.
To Hang Up a Call
Press
END
or return
the handset to the
charging cradle.
