For the first time in the industr y, an
optical ‘double coupling lens’ has been
i n c o r p o r a t e d d i r e c t l y i n t o t h e f i b e r
sensor itself. This lens maximizes the
light emission efficiency, resulting in a
t r e m e n d o u s i m p r o v e m e n t i n t h e
sensing range. Sensing ranges with
small diameter fibers and ultra-small
diameter fibers, which have become
very popular in recent years due to the
miniatur ization of chip components,
h ave b e e n i n c r e a s e d by 5 0 % ove r
previous values achieved with other
amplifiers.
T h e n ew l y d eve l o p e d fo u r - c h e m i c a l
emitting element that uses the
FX-301
(red LED type) suppresses changes
over long periods of time as much as
possible, so that a stable light emitting
level is maintained. There is very little
element deter ioration so that stable
a n d a c c u r a t e s e n s i n g c a n b e
maintained over long periods.
Our new fiber cutter utilizes a specially
developed two-in-one fiber attachment
that now makes it possible to cut two
fibers simultaneously to exactly the
same length. Also, since the fibers can
b e a t t a c h e d t o t h e a m p l i f i e r w h i l e
being fixed in position in the two-in-one
fiber attachment, sensitivity changes
due to variation in the amount of fiber
insertion do not occur.
