INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
MOUNTING
The DR-1 door release mounts in place of the lock strike plate
on the left or right door jamb. It should be flush mounted and
mortised in place.
CONNECTIONS
Run 18 gauge 2-conductor wire from door release to amplifier
location and connect to door release terminals. Refer to the
amplifier system instruction sheets for connection details and
typical system wiring recommendation.
Note: Silent door release Direct-A-Com Series 3
For silent door release operation in “Direct-A-Com” series 3
installations, refer to Model SRA-1 silent release adapter and
Model IM-516 amplifier installation instructions.
