The Lennox ComfortSense
®
7000 thermostat may be
used, as well as other thermostats.
In all cases, setup is critical to ensure proper system
operation.
Field wiring is illustrated in diagrams, which begin on
Page 19.

HFC−410A ref r iger ant only. T his unit m us t be ins talled
wit h an appr ov ed indoor air handler or coil. See the
Lennox XC17 Engineer ing Handbook for appr ov ed
indoor com ponent mat c hups .
IMPORTANT
This model is designed for use in expansion valve
systems only. An indoor expansion valve approved for
use with
HFC−410A
refrigerant must be ordered
separately, and installed prior to operating the system.
