Regarding the TK-190 Model Radios!
*** If this transceiver is programmed for more than one channel, the transmit
frequencies must be within a 500 kHz range.***
- The physical condition of the antenna may affect the radio's performance.
- If the original KRA-21 antenna is worn, bent or damaged, immediately have your
Kenwood authorized dealer replace the antenna with a new, properly adjusted KRA-21
antenna.
- Failure to follow these instructions may cause poor performance, damage to your
transceiver, and may also place excess transmitter energy on the metal portions of your
radio, which could make the transceiver uncomfortable to handle when transmitting.
- When transmitting, if your hand feels uncomfortable, contact your Kenwood dealer for
a transceiver inspection, and possible antenna replacement.
