Yes. T he Jabra BI Z 2400 I P headset ca n be con nected to

a computer v ia a GN Netcom USB adaptor, such as the
GN8110, GN8120, L i n k 220 or L i n k 280.

A

“ Wideba nd” refers to the f requenc y ra nge that the
headset suppor ts when tra nsm itti ng a nd receiv i ng
sou nd. GN Netcom uses the defi n ition 150–6,800 H z for
tr ue w ideba nd. Jabra BI Z 2400 USB a nd Jabra BI Z 2400 I P
headsets suppor t w ideba nd.

a noise-ca ncel i ng m icrophone, wh ich shou ld be qu ite close
to the mouth (approx i mately 2 cm / less tha n 1 i nch).

I n such situations, use of a GN Netcom a mpl i fier such as

the GN8210 is a lso recom mended.

wHat can Be done if tHe Headset user Has difficulty
Hearing?

A

I f the person usi ng the headset has problems hea r i ng
what the person on the other end of the l i ne is say i ng,
tr y tu r n i ng up the volu me level on the phone or a mpl i fier.
I f the problem persists, the headset user shou ld consider
sw itch i ng f rom a mono to a duo headset.

I n such situations, use of a n a mpl i fier such as the GN8210

is a lso recom mended. T h is ma kes it possible to tu r n up
the volu me. Use of DSP ( Dig ita l Sig na l P rocessi ng) a lso
helps adjust sou nd levels to match user preferences a nd
requ i rements.
