F U E L TA N K C A PA C I T Y

– Your vehicle is designed to use "Regular" unleaded gasoline with pump

(R+M)/2 octane rating of 87. Note: when the "Low Fuel Level" message appears on the message center
display, you must push the RESET button on the full message center or the button on top of the cluster
for the mini message center to clear this warning message. Until fuel is added, this message will
reappear at 10-minute intervals.

T I R E P R E S S U R E

– Your tire pressure is properly set at the dealership to the recommended

specifications found on the Safety Certification Label located inside the driver's door pillar. Tire pressure
information can also be found on the Tire Information label located inside the fuel filler door. Please
check your tire pressure during routine maintenance and seasonal changes.

F U S E S

– If electrical components in the vehicle are not working, a fuse may have blown. For more

information about changing a fuse, refer to your Owner's Guide.

F U E L P U M P S H U T- O F F S W I T C H

– After a collision, if the engine cranks but does not start, the fuel

pump shut-off switch may have to be reset. The switch is located in the front passenger's footwell,
behind the kick panel access cover, in front of the fuse box. For complete details on resetting the switch,
refer to your Owner's Guide.

– For more information on changing the tires, refer to your Owner’s Guide.

– To fully assist if you should have a vehicle concern, Ford offers a

complimentary Roadside Assistance Program. This program is separate from the New Vehicle
Limited Warranty. The service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for the Basic Warranty
period (Canada) or New Vehicle Limited Warranty period (U.S.) of three years or 60,000 km
(36,000 miles). Roadside assistance will cover: Changing a flat tire, Jump-starts, Limited fuel delivery,
Lock-out assistance, and Towing of your vehicle.

Press to eject a CD. For In-Dash CD6/MP3

system (if equipped), press and hold to auto-eject
all CDs present in the system.

T U N E R

Press to manually move up or down the radio

frequency. Also use in menu mode to select
various settings.

M U T E M O D E

Press to mute the playing media. Press again

to return to the playing media.

M E N U

Press to toggle through the following modes:

Treble, Bass, Balance, Fade, Speed Sensitive
Volume, Compression, Autoset, Setting the Clock.

S H U F F L E

Press to play tracks on the current CD in

random order.

S E E K F U N C T I O N

In radio mode, press to move to the next

strong station up or down the frequency band.
In CD mode, press to move to the next/previous
track on current disc.

S C A N F U N C T I O N

In radio mode, press to hear a brief sampling

of stations. In CD mode, press to hear a brief
sampling of CD tracks on the current CD.

S E T T I N G M E M O RY P R E S E T S

Select frequency band with the AM/FM

button, then select a station. Press and hold a
numbered button until the sound returns.

V O L U M E / P O W E R C O N T R O L

Push to turn the audio system on or off.

Turn the control to raise or lower volume.

A M / F M A N D C D S E L E C T

In radio mode, press AM/FM to select AM

or FM frequency bands. Press CD to begin CD
play. In CD mode, press AM/FM to stop play and
begin radio play.

Press the LOAD button and then a preset number
to select a slot. Press and hold LOAD to activate
autoload, for loading up to 6 CDs.

Increases/decreases the temperature of the driver’s seat.

A U T O :

The system will automatically determine fan speed, airflow location, A/C on or off, and

outside or recirculated air, to heat or cool the vehicle to reach the desired temperature.

D R I V E R H E AT E D S E AT C O N T R O L

:

Press once to activate high heat, press a second time to

activate low heat. Press a third time to deactivate.

A I R F L O W D I R E C T I O N C O N T R O L S

: This mode allows you to choose the air distribution

mode you desire.

: Distributes air through the instrument panel and center console registers.

: Distributes air through the instrument panel, center console registers (if equipped), and the

front and rear seat floor vents.

: Distributes air through the floor and rear seat floor vents. The system will automatically

provide outside air to reduce window fogging.

: Distributes air through the windshield defroster vents, demister outlets, and the front and rear

seat floor vents. The system will automatically provide outside air to reduce window fogging.

A / C

:

Activates/deactivates the air conditioning.

R E C I R C U L AT I O N

: Recirculates air in the cabin, thereby reducing the amount of time to cool

down the interior of the vehicle when used with A/C.

H E AT E D M I R R O R S

(if equipped): Press to activate/deactivate. This feature will remove ice and

snow from the side view mirrors.

D E F R O S T:

Used to clear ice or fog from the windshield by distributing air through the windshield

defroster vents.

FA N S P E E D C O N T R O L :

Increases/decreases the fan speed.

PA S S E N G E R H E AT E D S E AT C O N T R O L :

Press once to activate high heat, press a second

time to activate low heat. Press a third time to deactivate.

M A X A / C O V E R R I D E O F A U T O F U N C T I O N :

Select panel or panel/floor mode. Then select A/C

and recirculated air. Set the temperature setting to 60°F. Adjust fan speed to maintain comfort.

FA N S P E E D A D J U S T M E N T:

Controls the volume of air circulated in the vehicle.

T E M P E R AT U R E S E L E C T I O N D I A L :

Controls the temperature of the airflow in the vehicle.

A I R F L O W S E L E C T I O N D I A L :

Controls the direction of the airflow in the vehicle. See the

following for a brief description of each control.

: Uses recirculated air to cool the vehicle. Air flows from the instrument panel vents and center

console vents.

: Distributes air through the instrument panel vents and center console vents.

: Distributes air through the instrument panel vents, center console vents and the floor vents.

: (OFF) Outside air is shut out and the climate system is turned off.

: Distributes air through the floor vents.

: Distributes air through the windshield defroster vents and floor vents.

: Distributes outside air through the windshield defroster vents.

A/C

(if equipped): Press to activate/deactivate air conditioning. Use with recirculated air to improve

cooling performance. A/C engages automatically in MAX A/C, Defrost and Floor Defrost .

R E C I R C U L AT E D A I R :

Press to manually enable or disable recirculated air operation. When

activated, air recirculates in the cabin, thereby reducing the amount of time to cool down or warm up the
interior of the vehicle. This feature engages automatically with MAX A/C or can be engaged manually in
any mode except Defrost . Recirculation may turn off automatically in all airflow selections except
MAX A/C.

H E AT E D M I R R O R S

(if equipped): Press to activate/deactivate. This function will clear snow, fog

and thin ice from the side rear view mirrors.
