Dresser Bag Bottle Installation Instructions

To be used in conjunction with Installation Intructions for 71910-71919
Please study all instructions before you install your nitrous bottle in your dresser bag. If you have any questions or problems, please

1. Remove the dresser bag from the right side of the motorcycle.
2. Remove the dresser bag lid and latching mechanism from the bag.
3. Cut out the supplied template below. This template will be used to locate the correct
drilling locations for the installation of your 2-lb. nitrous bottle.
4. Locate the template on the outside of the dresser bag facing in toward the motorcycle.
Position the template so the “Top of Bag” and “Latch” labels are facing their
corresponding positions in relation to the bag. Your correctly positioned template should be
positioned the same as shown in
Fig. 1
.
5. Using a 7/16” drill bit, drill the installation hole for the bulkhead fitting where depicted in the
template. Using a 1/4” drill bit, drill the two holes for the bottle bracket mount.
6. Install the supplied bulkhead fitting in the mounting hole that was just drilled, with the short
end of the bulkhead fitting facing out of the bag.
7. Using the two supplied bottle bracket base bolts, bottle bracket lower, and bracket backing
plate, install the bracket lower into the bag as shown in
Fig. 2
. It is recommended to use removable
threadlock on the bolt threads to prevent vibration from loosening the bottle bracket bolts and damaging
the bag or your bottle.
8. Install the nitrous bottle in the brackets using the bottle bracket upper, two clamps bolts, and bottle as
shown in
Fig. 3
.
9. Connect the supplied feed line from the bottle outlet to the bulkhead fitting. Re-install your dresser lid
and bag onto the motorcycle.
CONGRATULATIONS! YOU ARE NOW FINISHED MOUNTING YOUR BOTTLE.
Cut out this hole.
Install the hole directly
around bag mount grommet.
