d tools needed for installation:

15 mm & 9/16” deep socket and ratchet
•
Floor jack & jack stands
•
Penetrating oil
1.
Raise rear of vehicle on smooth flat stable surface and support using jackstands.
2.
Use penetrating oil on clamp that attaches front I-pipe to over axle pipe. Loosen stock clamp. Carefully
pry rubber hangers off of the stock exhaust sys tem (these will be reused) , these hangers are all that
support the exhaust at this time, so use caution. Remove OEM system at
WARNING: Exhaust gas contains carbon monoxide, a deadly invisible gas. Correct any leaks
before driving.
ASSEMBLY
1. Place supplied over axle pipe stamped #25-
- pipe with supplied 2 ¼ u-clamp, do not tighten
2. Install on to muffler inlet pipe, the clamp hanger assembly stamped #23-4036. Slide muffler on to the over
axle pipe, slip hanger bar in to the OEM rubber hanger.
Note: This system contains one 2 1/2” and one 3” dia. exhaust tip. Exhaust tone is subjective to personal
opinion. Use of the 3” exhaust tip will result in a more aggressive exhaust tone than the 2
3. When using 2 ½ muffler tip. Place clamp hanger assembly #23-2037 on to the muffler and slip muffler tip in
muffler outlet. Tilt muffler approximately 45° in the vehicle and slide rear hanger bar in to rear OEM
