Description:
Designed for street applications, this single spring and retainer kit is intended for typical street to mild race-
type camshafts. This kit is recommended for use with Edelbrock #4730 Street/Strip Camshafts. The retainers are made
from titanium for its strength and low weight, and are designed to work with stock valves and locks. New factory valve
locks are included.
• Before Beginning:
This installation requires the use of special tools. One should have a moderate to advanced
knowledge of automotive repair and modification and be familiar and comfortable with working on an engine. If you do
not feel comfortable working on your engine, it is recommended to have the installation completed by a professional
mechanic. Follow the procedure for replacement of the valve springs, as outlined in the factory service manual for the
vehicle the engine was originally installed in. Use the specifications shown below to make sure the valve springs are
installed properly and that they are within proper specifications.
