NOTE:
This is a
RACING ONLY
part. Custom fitment is required. Some modifications to the intake manifold such as
welding and elimination of idle air passages in manifolds may be required.
Use the following adapter plates available from Edelbrock for ease of installation:
1. For Honda/Acura (Using 3811) - Part # 38112 - 70mm Adapter Plate
2. For Honda/Acura (Using 3812) - Part # 38122 - 75mm Adapter Plate
3. For Others (Using 3811) - Part # 38113 - 70mm Universal Adapter Plate
4. For Others (Using 3812) - Part # 38123 - 75mm Universal Adapter Plate
NOTE:
Custom drilling of adapter plates is requred in order to fit Universal Adapter plates to secific intake manifolds.
The bolt pattern on the throttle body is the same as a factory 5.0L Ford throttle body.
• Fit the throttle body onto the intake manifold using the appropriate adapter and the supplied gasket. Use existing
studs/bolts or modify accordingly.
• Connect the Throttle Position Sensor, Throttle Cable, Air Intake Ducting, etc., as required for your application.
• Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) range is 1-5 volts. Typical index voltage for the TPS is between 0.8 volts to 1.0 volts at
idle. If a different value is required for custom applications, the TPS can be made adjustable by elongating the bolt holes
in the TPS with a rat-tail file or high speed rotary tool.
