CAUTION:

To avoid possible electrical shock, be sure that power supply is

turned off before installing or servicing this fixture.

Note:

This fixture should be supported by main runners or other structure

that is capable of supporting fixture weight of 35 lbs.

Step 1

Suggested tools are a non-magnetized flat head screwdriver or
needle nose pliers.

Step 2

To Install Fixture: Using standard bar hangers, C-Channels (available
through Portfolio or furnished by others), 3/4" and 1 1/2" lathing or
1/2" conduit (all supplied by others), insert through the universal
hanger brackets and secure the mounting bars or channels to the
ceiling structure so that the edge of the die cast mounting frame is
flush with the finished ceiling.

Step 3

Push lampholder into a regressed position (Fig. 1).

Step 4

To Install Trim: With screw driver or needle nose pliers, stretch baffle
mounting spring, then hook into elongated slot in the housing
(Fig. 2).

Step 5

Pull lampholder down and adjust to desired position.

CAUTION:

Use with ceramic metal halide lamps approved for use in open

fixtures. Do not use an incandescent lamp as this may cause
extremely short lamp life and may damage the ballast.

NOTE:

The electronic ballast has a very improtant

"shutdown" timing

feature that turns off the ballast output

after time periods ranging from 2

minutes up to 30 minutes if a lamp does not start or operate properly or if
the fixture wiring is improper. For proper system diagnosis and at lamp
replacement time; the INPUT POWER TO THE BALLAST MUST BE RESET
(turn power off, count to 10, and then turn bqack on) to start a new lamp.
