Network Snapshot Camera for Internet/Intranet

AXIS NetEye

200

With the AXIS NetEye 200 Network Camera, users can take and view pictures
remotely over the network with a standard WWW browser, such as Netscape
Navigator or Internet Explorer.

Add excitment and live action to your web site. Replace video cabling with your
network, use it for Web site improvement, lite serveillance, event promotion,
tourism, office automation, image databases or medical. For the intranet it is ideal
for photo catalogs, conference room viewing, visitor badges or for monitoring the
coffee machine. It can also be used to create your own MPEG movies.

This palm-sized digital color camera is installed as a self-contained web server.
It requires no extra system resources or file server involvement. To install, simply
connect it to the Ethernet network, assign an IP address, add a web reference and
you are ready to take and view pictures remotely from your web browser.
Optimized for its task, its RISC hardware makes sure it takes less than a second to
update a full size JPEG image.

As the AXIS NetEye 200 has an open web server design it can easily be integrated
into Intranet based groupware applications as well as to Internet itself. You can
use it in mixed operating environments, such as Windows, Macintosh, UNIX and
OS/2, since all it requires is a standard web browser and that TCP/IP is available
on the viewing client.

Until now network imaging solutions have required complicated systems
involving PC’s or workstations and sometimes specific video cabling. With
AXIS NetEye your network becomes an immediate resource for imaging without
involving unnecessary equipment or installation costs.
