Edge-Core A07-ES4704BD chassis routing switch is a high performance switch.
It is an ideal switch for core layer of campus network and enterprise network, and
aggregation layer of IP metropolitan network. Edge-Core A07-ES4704BD has 4
slots. Each management module has forwarding interfaces, which increases the
port density and usage of slots. Edge-Core A07-ES4704BD provides 120 Gbps
switching capacity and 104Mpps packet forwarding. It can support maximum 6 10G
ports, 96 Gigabit ports and 96 Megabit ports. The high capacity enables the switch
to forward Layer 2/Layer 3 traffi c in line speed. Edge-Core A07-ES4704BD sup-
ports various types of Network Interface (NI) modules, including Megabit, Gigabit
and 10G modules. It will also support policy-based routing*, IPv6*, MPLS, load
balance*, VPN*, Firewall*. These features meet users’ different network require-
ments. Moreover, Edge-Core A07-ES4704BD is equipped with high Reliability,
such as Fan Redundancy, Power Redundancy, Management Module Redundancy
and Link Redundancy, Hot-swap for all the Modules, AC and DC Power Supplies
and Temperature Sensor.
