Safety Guidelines

• This timer is designed for residential outdoor watering use only.
• Detach the timer from the faucet at the end of watering season.
• Do not use with water exceeding 100°F (38°C) or with pressure exceeding

125 PSI.

• Drain all water and remove batteries before storage.

Installation

1. Turn the battery door to the open position using a flat head screwdriver or

coin as shown (see figure 1).

2. Install two AA alkaline batteries (see figure 2) then secure the battery door.

NOTE:

Always install new AA alkaline batteries.

3. Before attaching the timer to the outdoor faucet, manually check the timer

operation by turning the duration dial to the “ON” setting. You will hear
the motor in approximately two seconds. This indicates that the batteries
are installed correctly. Return the dial to the “OFF” setting before attaching
the timer to the outdoor faucet.

4. Connect the timer to your outdoor faucet and hose. Be sure all connections

are secure before turning on the water.

Set Watering Frequency

1. To set watering frequency (interval) turn the frequency dial to the

desired length of watering time. The frequency dial can be set to 1, 2, 3,
4, 6, 8, 12, 24, 48, or 72 hours, or to water weekly (once a week).

2. We recommend that you keep a record of the watering schedule (date

and time).

3. Watering frequency will begin after the dial has been set for two seconds.

The frequency dial will reset if it is turned to a new setting for two
seconds.

4. The frequency setting must be longer than the duration setting.

Set Watering Duration

Turn the duration dial to the desired length of watering time. The duration
dial can be set to 1, 3, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45, 60, 90, or 120 minutes. Water
will come on automatically as scheduled.

Start Time Delay

Watering does not immediately start when the frequency dial is set to the
desired interval for operation. The timer has a start time delay that is equivalent
to the number of hours of the programmed watering frequency (interval).

FOR EXAMPLE:

At 1:00 PM the frequency dial is programmed for “6” to water

every six hours. The first watering cycle will start at 7:00 p.m. or six hours after the
timer is programmed.
Refer to

Manual Watering

for immediate operation.

Manual Watering

Turn the duration dial to the “ON” setting for manual watering.

Low Battery Indicator

When the battery voltage drops below operating voltage, the timer will no longer operate
and the indicator light will turn on. Replace batteries immediately and reset program.
