Loading the manual

FOOD PREPARATION

Operate the appliance in short bursts. Never allow the
motor to run continuously for more than 15 seconds. This
is especially important when processing butter and
cheese, as doing so may over-run the motor.
After 15 seconds of operation you must let the motor rest
for at least two minutes to avoid over-heatring.
It may be necessary with some foods to stop the unit, and
re-distribute the food before continuing. Always unplug
the appliance before removing the lid.
PULSE MODE: To get finely chopped food, operate the
appliance with several very short presses of the operating
switch.

THIS APPLIANCE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR CHOPPING

Cut the food into small pieces (maximum size 25mm, 1")
The maximum quantity of food you can process at any one
time should not exceed 200g for soft items and100g for
nuts and other items.
We suggest you keep the liquid content of food to be
processed to a minimum as excess liquid can penetrate
the motor.
After preparation, place the food into the bowl and close
the lid. (Refer to the previous page).

Refer to the table below for advice on which speed to use
for best results.
Assemble the appliance, with the food in the bowl.
Plug the unit into the mains supply and switch on at the
mains.

CARE AND CLEANING

After Use:

Unplug the appliance.

If the motor is warm, allow it to cool fully.

Remove the lid.

Lift the blade out and place it in a secure location.
