MODEL UA860WB UHF PASSIVE
OMNIDIRECTIONAL ANTENNA
The Shure UA860WB is a passive wide band UHF omnidirectional
antenna. The UA860WB is weather resistant and suitable for use
outdoors.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Selecting Cable
Determine the length of cable required to connect the UA860WB
antenna to a receiver or transmitter. Use only 50
Ω
low-loss
cables (RG-8X or equivalent).
Shure recommends the following coaxial cables for mounting
remote antennas:

UA825 Extension Cable (7.6 m [25 ft])
•
UA850 Extension Cable (15.2 m [50 ft])
•
UA8100 Extension Cable (30.4 m [100 ft])
NOTE
: Shure recommends using the UA830WB In-Line Amplifier
with gain selector switch, for cable lengths longer than
7.6 m ([25 ft]).
